Ein echtes URBEX-JUWEL 💎 Herrenhaus der Braut: ALTE SCHNAPSBRENNEREI & POMPÖSE VILLA 🔎 Lost Place

Inmitten eines kleinen belgischen Dorfes liegt ein landwirtschaftliches Anwesen, eine ehemalige Destillerie für Obst- und Getreide-Alkohol, die seit vielen Jahren unbewohnt ist und im Mittelpunkt eines Erbschaftsstreits steht. Vor ungefähr 5 Jahren war der Ort ein Hot Spot der Urbex-Szene, denn solch ein unberührtes Gebäude hatte man zuvor selten gesehen.

Aber mit der Popularität eines Ortes steigt natürlich auch die Aufmerksamkeit derer, die darauf aufpassen, und obwohl die potentiellen Erben sich noch immer um das Anwesen stritten, waren sie sich in einer Sache einig: Leute wie wir haben hier nichts zu suchen. In einer meines Wissens nach bisher einmaligen Aktion befestigten sie am Gebäude Zettel mit folgendem Inhalt:

Liebe Urban Explorer, wir haben von euren Aktivitäten und euren Erkundungen unseres Hauses erfahren, aber im Gegensatz zu dem, was sein Äußeres vielleicht vermuten lässt, haben wir dieses Haus NICHT aufgegeben. Es gehörte unseren Großeltern, wurde aber aufgrund von Erbschaftsproblemen bisher noch nicht an uns überschrieben. Das Haus enthält noch viele einzigartige Gegenstände, die für UNS einen ganz besonderen Wert haben. Wir würden uns deshalb freuen, wenn Sie diesen Ort NICHT als einen Ihrer „Spots“ betrachten würden. Wir waren bis heute tolerant was Ihr Hobby anbelangt, aber wenn wir davon erfahren, dass Personen dieses Haus weiterhin besuchen sehen wir uns leider gezwungen entsprechend zu handeln, indem wir die Polizei informieren. Wir hoffen allerdings, dass es nicht so weit kommen wird …

Wenn ich jetzt behaupten würde dieser Aushang hätte einen großartigen Effekt gehabt würde ich lügen, denn auch in den darauffolgenden Monaten drangen immer wieder Personen in das Haus ein – und die Polizei musste ein ums andere Mal anrücken. Und das Schlimmste daran: ganz viele Gegenstände wurden aus dem Gebäude entwendet.

Jetzt, einige Jahre später, ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes Gras über die Sache gewachsen. Viele Fenster sind eingeworfen, die Türen stehen sperrangelweit offen und es ist an uns, die Geschichte des Hofes zu erzählen …

In the midst of a small Belgian village lies an agricultural estate, a former distillery for fruit and grain alcohol, which has been uninhabited for many years and which is at the center of an estate dispute. About 5 years ago, the place was a hot spot of the Urbex scene because such an untouched building had rarely been seen before.

But with the popularity of a place the attention of those who watch it increases, and although the potential heirs still argue about the estate, they agreed on one thing: there’s no business for people like us here. In what I know to be a unique action, they attached notes to the building with the following content:

Dear Urban Explorers, we have learned of your activities and your many trips through our house. Contrary to its appearance, this house is not abandoned. The house belonged to our grandparents, but due to problems with inheritance it has not yet been entrusted to us. As you will have seen the house still contains many treasured items, special to us. In these circumstances we would appreciate it if you did not consider this house one of your "spots". We have been tolerant up until this day but if we become aware of people continuing to visit this house we will need to take corrective measures and inform the police. We hope it doesn't need to go that far.
If I said now this poster would have had a great effect I would lie, because in the following months, people invaded the house again and again - and the police had to move on again and again. And worst of all: a lot of objects were stolen from the building.

Now, a few years later, grass has grown in the truest sense of the word. Many windows have been smashed, the doors are wide open and it is up to us to tell the story of the mansion ...
