We take our Lance 825 Truck Camper to Fairplay, Colorado for our first high altitude camping trip at nearly 10,000 feet above sea level! At that height there is 33% less oxygen than at sea level! We talk about what effects we felt from the altitude, and suggest some tips to consider when visiting Colorado's high country. We also drive our annual leaf peeping scenic route to see fall colors in mountain towns like Breckenridge, and give one of the area's popular activities - gold panning - a try! See if we struck gold!
