Sometimes when you’re playing a game for the first time you don’t realise just how special it is. You don’t realise the impact it’s going to leave on you until it happens. It’s not just the idea of wanting to replay a game for the first time to experience all the same feelings. It’s about how that game will forever sit in a special place for you. It could be because you loved playing it when you were a kid or a game you played as an adult and the themes make you connect on an emotional level. These games are the games that left an impact on you, on me, and for some games, it left an impact on the industry and communities that loved these titles. So today I’m going to be discussing the games that left an impact on me and my experience of gaming over the last 21 years of my life but more importantly, understanding why they left these feelings and what I believe is truly important in gaming but most importantly it’s about reminiscing on the amazing games I’ve loved.
