How to get to Kaimanawa Wall, near Taupo, New Zealand

Directions to Kaiwanawa Wall:
1. The easiest way to start is to go to the corner of Lake Terrace and Napier Rd in Taupo. Then drive up Napier Rd until you reach State Highway 5 to Napier (you will see a Mitre 10 Mega there on your left).
2.From there drive along SHW5 22.8 ks and turn right into Taharua Rd, which is clearly signposted.
3. Then drive along Taharua Rd 9.3 K's until you see a road on your right. That road is called Clements Mill Rd, which is not signposted; however you may see a Sika Lodge sign there, assuming the lodge is still there.
4. Then drive along Clements Mill Rd 11.5 ks, which is mostly gravel, and you will see the Kaimanawa Wall on your left, from your car.

PLEASE NOTE: I recorded the ks from Kaimanawa Wall back to the start of SHW5, so they may not be 100% accurate, but they are very close to it.
