Описание к видео Adding Basic Text to Davinci Resolve in Under 2 minutes (2024)

Welcome to my first DaVinci Resolve tutorial! Today, I'll show you how to add basic text to your video in under TWO minutes! Let's get started!
OK - so open your project and navigate to the "Edit" page.
Locate the "Effects Library" on the top left of the screen. Click on it to expand the library.
Now, be sure Toolbox is open and click on "Titles" to see the available text options.
Drag and drop the "Text" effect onto the timeline above your existing video clip. This will create a basic text layer on top of your video.
Next, select the text layer in the timeline and go to the Inspector panel on the top right. If you don't see the Inspector, click on "Inspector" to open it.
In the Inspector panel, you'll see options to customize your text. Start by typing your text in the "Text" field.
You can adjust the font, size, color, and alignment of your text. Experiment with these settings to get the look you want.
To position your text, use the "Transform" controls. You can move, scale, and rotate the text to place it exactly where you need it.
If you want to add effects like drop shadows or backgrounds, explore the "Shading" and "Background" tabs in the Inspector.
Once you're happy with your text, you can play back your video to see how it looks. Make any final adjustments as needed.
And that's it! You've successfully added basic text to your video in DaVinci Resolve.
