Hello Everyone! Welcome back to my channel!
Today I'd like to take you to the DL&W abandoned tunnel a.k.a. Roseville Tunnel which was a part of Lackawanna Cut-Off line.

The tunnel and the line was built between 1908 and 1911. It was a main line, connecting Hoboken Terminal, NJ with Buffalo, NY. Back in 60-70s the ridership went down and the railroad decided to close this line. Since 1979 there was no service here, and in 1984 all the tracks were removed. That was the end of this Lackawanna Cut-Off line.

But in 2011, New Jersey transit decided to rebuild this line due to expansion project, which proposed a connection to a new station "Andover" with Hoboken Terminal. Currently this line is still not in service and there is a lot to do before this place will become an active railroad line, that's why I decided to come here and see what's going on with famous DL&W tunnel, which is more than a century old.
