Lackawanna/EL Sussex Branch

Dover to Washington on the main line, then up to Branchville in both Lackawanna and EL. Also featured is the eastbound "Phoebe Snow" a couple of times, which was a reliable midday eastbound on the Morris & Essex. Passenger service past Netcong and the Sussex Branch ended in 1966 when the state of New Jersey allowed EL to discontinue service on lower density lines. The Sussex Branch was abandoned and ripped up in piecemeal through the rest of the 60s and 70s.
