Chasing People and Animals

Chasing animals is one of the strongest natural instincts in dogs. Pursuit and hunting behaviour is as natural to a dog as walking is to a human. It is an expression of the desire to chase prey. All dogs may exhibit predatory aggressive behaviour that involves chasing. They go through the motions but don’t usually attack or bite at the end of the chase, although this can change as such dogs get more practised at it.
