Telehandler Crashes Upside Down in Apartments! Are you guys keeping track of these boom lift and telehandler accidents? We've probably done a few dozen this year alone and I have at least 6 more videos on my hard drive with more. Not sure if they are just too easy to rent out, but it has been keeping us very very busy.

I handled this one myself in Hulk, my 50ton rotator. The job started complicated and hard when I saw it was at the very back end of a small apartment complex. Maneuvering Hulk inside was a bit tricky but manageable. The next hard part was uprighting this up a hill, but Hulk seemed to handle that no problem. Then, the unit would not go into drive or reverse! Some people have all the luck, and some people don't.

My fix to get this unit onto the Landoll was drive out the way I came in, while attached to the unit using my deck winch and a 15' Bailey's strap. Plan worked great, and from there the unit was loaded and secured, ready to deliver to the mechanic.
