This Yin Yoga practice invites you to release tension in your body and find calm and grounding in both your mind and body. You will be guided through Yin yoga for hips and shoulders and then move through some releasing breath work. This practice may be helpful for anxiety, depression, or for general feelings of disconnection from yourself.

Props Needed:
1 yoga bolster OR a couple of firm pillows

This is a great beginner yoga practice and incorporates concepts of Trauma Informed Yoga as a way to start or deepen your mental health journey in order to feel more calm, regulated, and at ease daily. Yoga for mental health is a wonderful resource to add to your toolbox for self-improvement.
