Banias: Temple of Pan, springs and waterfalls

Join David Hyman, Israeli professional tour guide on this in-depth video tour that covers all the many highlights of Banias Nature rserve in the Golan Heights. In This video tour we will visit one of Israels' most popular parks and explore the many points of interest such as: The springs of the Hermon Stream, The Temple of the Greek god Pan, The newly excavated Byzantine church. During Roman times the city's name was Ceasarea Philippi and we will read St Peter's confession from Matthew Chapter 16 that takes place at this exact location. We will also visit the palace of King Agrippa II and then chec-kout the Crusader perioud city gates. You are also welcome to join me on the beautiful nature trail that follows the gushing river and experience the fantastic suspended trail that hangs over the deep canyon walls, We end the tour at the magnificent Banais waterfalls.
