Watch Ms. Follows play a brave and strong Depression-era mother in this sweet Christmas movie. Plenty of good lessons learned by all. The husband was played by Stuart Hughes, who was a long-time significant-other of Ms. Follows. According to an article, they were kind of a power couple in Canadian theatre at the time. Rachel Marcus, who played little Booky, had nothing but praise for Ms. Follows, calling her on her IMDB page: "Canada's Treasure".

There were three Booky movies. This one was the most popular and still available on DVD.
