Celebrating Leicester, England diverse cultures and the traditions of the Caribbean. The theme for 2019 is The Windrush “Celebrating Caribbean migrants contribution to the Economic and Cultural Development of the United Kingdom.” The dazzling procession leaves Victoria Park and makes its way around the city centre. The parade is led by a costumed tribute to The Windrush and includes local groups as well as visiting troupes from Nottingham, Derby, Leeds, Preston, London and Bedford. Saturday August 3rd 2019.
