India has 705 tribal groups which are included in Scheduled Tribes list. Out of these 705 tribes, 75 are identified as particularly vulnerable tribal groups. In the state of Odisha 62 tribal groups live in which 13 are categorised as primitive tribal groups. Bonda is one in these tribal groups.
