BEAUTIFUL, ELEGANT Dover Traditional Traction Elevators at The Westin Poinsett Hotel, Greenville, SC

These were VERY NICE Elevators in a BEAUTIFUL Hotel!!!! Originally installed in 1925 and were probably manually controlled, and they were likely modernized a couple times since by probably Otis or Westinghouse and then they were modded again during the massive renovation to the hotel from 1997-2000 by Dover with Traflomatic controllers and Very Late Newer Dover Traditional fixtures. Overall, a very nice mod, and I love the Handcarved wooden cabs, brass paneling and the beautiful mechanical bells!!!!! And they go pretty fast for the amount of floors!!!! Overall, very beautiful and fast elevators made by a great company in their final years before TK bought them out and hopefully they never get modernized again!!!
