Bird house
Even birds need a warm and beautiful home. This time I decided to make Bird house that provides shelter for them and gives me a fairy-tale look.
I made it from glued solid spruce wood, and I cut the door and heart from plywood. I carved the drawn curves with a jigsaw, the straight lines with a circular saw, and sanded them by machine and by hand. I joined it with slats and white wood glue. I painted the inside of the house with an unscented, water-based clear coat and protected the outside with boat varnish so that it can stay beautiful for as long as possible.

Ptičja hiša, valilnica
Tudi ptički rabijo topel in lep dom. Tokrat sem se odločil narediti valilnico, ki je hkrati hiša, ki jim nudi zavetje, meni pa daje pravljičen videz.
Izdelal sem jo iz lepljenega masivnega lesa smreke, vratca in srce pa sem izrezal iz vezane plošče. Narisane krivulje sem izrezljal z vbodno žago, ravne črte s cirkularko, zbrusil pa strojno in ročno. Spojil sem jo z lamelami in belim lepilom za les. Notranjost hiške sem polakiral s prozornim lakom na vodni osnovi brez vonja, zunanjost pa sem zaščitil z lakom za čolne, da se bo lahko ohranila lepa čim dlje.
