Happy New Year to my followers of Circle B Bar Reserve. We have had some cooler weather, in fact some of our Northern Vistors have told me temps are warmer where they came down from that here, at the moment. Alligators are for the most part staying in the water, with a few on land sunny midday. Small birds seen include warblers, vireos, some kinglets. Painted Bunting are here, but not in large numbers yet. Lots of Sandhill Cranes, White Ibis, Cattle Egrets, Eagles, Herons and Egrets. Owls are paired and nesting.
