Off-Road Wheelchair Camping With My Dog!

After suffering a pretty serious fracture of my Tibial Plateau I was left with 7 screws and a plate that forced me to stay off of my leg for a few months. I found this Magic Mobility off road wheelchair on Facebook Marketplace and decided to buy it with the intentions of giving it away when I could start walking again.

Spending weeks indoors unable to do much I finally decided I had the strength to attempt a campout. Thankfully the site wasn't too far away, so I packed up all of my gear and my Dog Diesel and I set off for a night outdoors.

Setting up the tent was a struggle with only one leg so I can only imagine how difficult it could be without any.. But we got everything done and it was time to kick back by the fire and cook some dinner.

All in all I'd say this trip was a success and I would like to dedicate it to all of the handicapped and disabled people out there who love the outdoors. Stay strong and know that anything is possible with a little ingenuity.
