Final Look Around The Stampede Corral

Описание к видео Final Look Around The Stampede Corral

After the third and final game of the Calgary Hitmen Corral Series. Myself and many others we're capturing their last look inside the Stampede Corral arena before leaving for very likely the last time. Even though much of the hockey history happened before my time it was still a little sad to see one last hockey game played in the Stampede Corral. Been inside for many shows during the Calgary Stampede but glad that I've took in the Calgary Hitmen Corral Series. Come enjoy my final panoramic views inside the arena as I say my final farewell and have it digitally preserved. Fitting the song Not Ready To Go by The Trews was playing in the background at this moment but many hockey fans felt that. The Calgary Stampede has $500M expansion plans of the BMO Centre and part of the scope of work is demolishing the Stampede Corral. Also said the cost to maintain it isn't worth the expense anymore as this building is almost 70 years old as it opened on December 15th, 1950. There's debate about keeping it as many historic buildings have been demolished over the years in Calgary.
