As I observed the arrival of Spring, I realized how many natural processes take place in quiet. We hear the results of these processes in the rustle of leaves, the drip of melting snow and in the chirping of birds. My mind turned to the inner workings of the human mind and heart. What is the end result that is visible to the world? I think it is only in the quiet fortitude of the heart and mind can we truly be gentle and meek towards others.
