1989년 발매한 밴드 '바람꽃'의 대표곡인 '비와 외로움'을 연주했습니다.
국민학교 때 아버지가 듣던 바람꽃의 LP 판을 뜻도 제목도 모르고 목청껏 따라 불렀던 게 엊그제 같은데 당시 아버지 나이가 되어 오랜만에 듣게 되니 감회가 새롭네요.
명곡은 세대를 초월해서 깊은 감동을 주는 거 같습니다.
하지만 앨범이 발매한 1989년 당시 '비와 외로움'은 대학가를 중심으로 잔잔한 인기를 얻었던 곡이라고 합니다.
큰 인기가 없다 보니 바람꽃도 당시에는 별다른 활동을 하지 않았다고 합니다.
이후 1993년에 발매한 2집 때는 한 명만 제외하고 5명의 멤버가 모두 바뀌었고 1997년 마지막 3집 때는 4인조로 줄면서 멤버는 전원 다시 교체되었고 이후에는 밴드명처럼 바람같이, 소리 소문 없이 사라진 밴드가 되었습니다.
그렇다 보니 그들의 현재 남아있는 영상은 유튜브, 인터넷으로 검색해도 못 찾았습니다.
여담으로 바람꽃 데뷔곡인 '비와 외로움'은 부활의 데뷔곡인 '희야'를 만들었던 양홍석님께서 작곡한 곡이라고 합니다.
두 팀 다 데뷔곡이 밴드를 대표하는 곡이 되었네요^^

드럼은 발라드 치곤 꽤 까다로운 곡입니다.
이유는 템포가 bpm 72 로 비교적 빠른 편이기도 하지만 무엇보다 원핸드 16비트 리듬이 만만치가 않습니다.
빠른 속도는 물론 연주의 여유와 섬세한 터치가 필요하며
정확한 크로스 림샷소리와 하이 햇 오픈의 길이 조정, 킥의 더블 연주 등 은근히 신경 쓸게 많은 곡입니다.
그래서 별이 4개!~입니다^^
이 곡을 연습하시면서 '어렵고, 까다롭다'라고 느낀 신다면 '제대로 연습하시고 계십니다' 라고 말씀드리고 싶습니다.

We played ‘Rain and Loneliness’, the representative song of the band ‘Windflower’ released in 1989.
It seems like only yesterday that I sang along at the top of my voice to the LP version of Wind Flower that my father listened to when I was in elementary school, without even knowing the meaning or title, but now that I am my father's age at the time and am listening to it for the first time in a long time, I have new emotions.
I think famous songs transcend generations and leave a deep impression.
However, at the time the album was released in 1989, 'Rain and Loneliness' was said to be a song that gained quiet popularity mainly in college towns.
It is said that Wind Flower did not do much at the time because it was not very popular.
Afterwards, for the second album released in 1993, all five members except one changed, and for the last third album in 1997, the band was reduced to four members and all members were replaced again, and after that, like the name of the band, like the wind, the band disappeared without a sound. It is done.
As a result, I couldn't find any of their remaining videos even when searching on YouTube or the Internet.
As a side note, Windflower's debut song 'Rain and Loneliness' is said to have been composed by Yang Hong-seok, who also created Resurrection's debut song 'Heeya'.
The debut song of both teams has become a song that represents the band^^

The drums are quite tricky for a ballad.
The reason is that the tempo is relatively fast at 72 bpm, but more than anything, the one-hand 16-beat rhythm is not easy.
It requires not only fast speed, but also leisure and delicate touch in playing.
This is a song that requires a lot of subtle attention, such as the accurate cross rim shot sound, adjusting the length of the hi-hat open, and double playing of the kick.
