Hekireki (Hajime no Ippo) English Fandub

I know I said I was on hiatus til February, BUT I CHANGED MY MIND!

I wanted to start this new year off with a bang, so why not start it with a thunderbolt? Lol puns.

I was almost completely done recording this fandub earlier this month, so I just cranked out the last few lead and background parts yesterday and today and now, here it is. Like always, I had a blast since singing all this heavy-ish rock is good for strengthening my vocal chords and since I really love this song.

Though I'm losing all the time, I won't be overcome.

Like a gambler, I'll run after that LUCKY SEVEN,
keeping sight of every night I faced that CROSS COUNTER.

As I look back down this winding road,
I'm in awe of where I am because it shows
that my hands now hold
a prize that's worth more than gold
and it's the memory of where I used to be.

The wind my blow
and the thunder roll,
but today I know
that the storm will not take control.
I'll raise my hands and I'll stand to face what may unfold
as I walk down this road.

As the storms pass by
and the rain subsides,
my once cloudy sky
has been parted by radiant light.
There, I will see who I've always been destined to be,
