John Deere 45 Loader Removal and Installation for the X series

This video covers the steps to remove and install the Model 45 loader that was available for the X4-5, X5-5, and the X7-- series tractors. This loader does not fit the 2013 and newer X7-- machines.

Removing and installing the loader is very simple and easy. Key tips:
1) Watch the front hose guide
2) Make sure to relieve the pressure on the tractor hydro system
3) On occasion the loader will settle or if there is a large temperature fluctuation the loader lines will become pressurized. You may need to release some pressure. This can often be accomplished with a paper towel and pressing the tip of the fitting into the towel on the ground. Please be careful where your hands are at and not to introduce dirt into the system.
