Tiruttani Subramany Swamy Temple is the fifth among the six Arupadai veedu Murugan temples and is situated in a small hill Thanigai malai, facing east.

This temple is over 1,000 years old and has been renovated and maintained by Chola and Vijayanagara era kings over the millennia.
