Post-Match Reactions - Lion City Sailors v Albirex Niigata (S) (Singapore Premier League 24/25)

Post-match reactions from our 4th game of the 2024/2025 Singapore Premier League season.

Against our traditional rivals, some may have expected a difficult game, but it proved to be anything but. Our Sailors shook off a horrendous decision by the referee and the VAR team not to disallow a clearly offside goal from Albirex, and responded with 7 goals from 6 different goalscorers.

Shawal's acrobatic goal (I feel like we say this a lot this season), was followed by goals from Bart Ramselaar (2), Maxime Lestienne, Lennart Thy, Song Ui-Young and Bailey Wright.

We spoke with Danial, a Sailors fan who recently decided to come for more live games. We also spoke with Ryan, our loyal flag-hoister who is leaving the Crew for a bit to focus on his O Levels.
