Sarek is one of the few remaining wilderness areas with practically no infrastructure: roads, maintained trails or buildings. Area has majestic scenery - lush valleys surrounded by barren mountains, with wildly changing weather patterns. Sarek attracts hikers who seek a more intense nature experience away from more frequented trails.
