Fun Fact: While the Shaken Shuriken (aka "ninja stars") were, by far, the most popular of shuriken in pop culture and media, the Bo Shuriken was, arguably, more utilized, due to the fact it can be easily made, more can be carried, and in a tight situation, even a random stick found on the ground can be used as a Bo Shuriken.
Shuriken were, for the most part, meant as a tactical distraction......however, when laced with poison, it could be considered lethal (though it's effects are slow-acting, since the poison would need to circulate within the bloodstream).
