廈門李清泉別墅 Poor Kid Rents a Villa after Growing Up and Spends 10 Years Renovating it

1991年，林聰海跟隨母親到廈門討生活，住在民國頂級富商、“木材大王”李清泉送給父親的養老房隔壁。因對該別墅日久生情，林聰海賺到錢後就租下它，用10年的時間、花費1000萬進行修繕，只為搶救這棟百年老宅。他說，“我的理想就是，多年後人們來看這棟房子，依然還能發現它的美。”

In 1991, Lin Conghai came to Xiamen with his mother to make a living. He lived next to the villa built by the ‘Lumber King’ Dee C.Chuan for his father. Gradually Lin fell in love with the villa and rented it after he earned money. He spent 10 million on renovation over 10 years in order to save this old house of 100 years old. ‘My dream is that people can still find its beauty many years later,’ said Lin.
