How to Set Up BETTER BATTLE MAPS for D&D (DM Tips)

Recently, I've struggled with setting up a battle map that encourages my players to use the whole thing. They tend to stay in the farthest corner. The realization hit me this week that this might all be my fault in the way that I'm setting my battle maps up.

So today we are answering the question: Can we use our terrain to set up a more engaging and exciting battlefield for our players to fight on?
