The BEST WAY to Set Up Terrain for FIRST TIME D&D PLAYERS!!!! (DM Tips)

This week I was approached to run a game for a group of Kids who have never played D&D before. This got me to thinking; is there a way to set up terrain for first time players that suits their needs as they learn the game? Is there a difference between setting up terrain for first time players versus more experienced players? What subtle messages are we sending to newer players with opur terrain set ups?

So today I do my best to answer these questions!
