Barbarian Challenge in Gadsden, Alabama is one of the best races you can ever do. It's got a great mix of challenging and fun obstacles, great trails, hills, and A WATERFALL! Everybody is so friendly and the area is great. Definitely put this on your list!
It was a hot one and I was feeling it. Final distance was 6.66 miles and 1,058 ft of elevation. On the second to last obstacle, the rig, my calf cramped up pretty bad. Luckily I was in a tunnel so I could lay there for a bit, because I didn't want to fight through it since the final obstacle is a dragon's back jump 2 stories high. Had a great time and can't wait to go back next year!
