Short Note:

1. On 21st Jan 2022, the Longtang Baptist Lashong celebrated its 75 years of Christianity under the theme "Append probity & enlightenment with faith" 2 Peter 1:5


2. In 1946, As per the permissions from the village head. First few villagers embraced the Christian faith. Later, On 21st Jan 1947, 12 members who were first baptized by J.Onenlepten, Evangelist are as follows:

iii.Chusangsatluba & his wife

iv. Binngaba & his wife Shemshalepla
v. C.Ngakusomba (Bachelor)

vii. N.Haongsahonpong (Bachelor)

3. The First acting Pastor

4.The First Pastor (Full time )

(1948-1954)

5. Platinum Jubilee Celebration was held under the guidance of Pastor M.Süngjümliba. He's serving the Longtang Baptist Church since 2005 till date.
