They Completely Ripped Me Off! - Customer Complaint - Mishler Auction Services

Bidding in online auctions can always be a gamble, but sometimes the real gamble is getting the item which you've won after the auction has ended. I recently found myself in this situation with the auctioneer Mishler Auction Services, back in March of this year. This whole ordeal has been a 2 month struggle to get the item which I won, and although I do eventually get there in the end, the outcome is far from a positive one.

After finding out the local hobby shop in my area was going out of business, and that the remaining inventory was being auctioned off, I was tempted to see what all was up for grabs. I was a little reluctant to purchase anything considering I had cut ties with this hobby shop last year, however there were deals to be had. The owner brought in Mishler Auction Services to sell off the remaining inventory, and considering I'd be dealing with them instead of the shop itself, I figured I had nothing to worry about.

After winning an auction back in March, I had the option of picking up the item at the hobby shop or having it shipped to me. Rather than driving 30 minutes, I just decided to have the item shipped, but I never got any notification of shipment, nor did the item show up. This went on for a month until I finally got in contact with the auctioneer, and they managed to locate my item and get it shipped out to me. However, this would not be the end of the story.

Upon finally receiving the item, I find that it has both broken and missing pieces, some which weren't even present in the box. After 2 months dealing with this, I've honestly lost patience and am done trying to reason with Mr. Mishler. My time has been wasted, I'm out over $80, and at the end of the day have nothing to show for it. Furthermore, there was no attempt by Mr. Mishler whatsoever to give me a break. I was still charged his ridiculous fees, despite all the inconveniences I had to deal with. This is one gamble which I well and truly lost...
