Fly Fishing In The Beautiful Mountain River

Fly fishing on the North Fork South Platte River.
Some days are better than others, but I don't think there can be a bad day when your standing in the cold river in the mountains throwing a fly.
A stringer of fish or a few tugs on the pole, it really don't matter to me. All my worries and stress seem to disappear when all you have to think about is throwing that fly.
The water was cold and at the second spot I didn't bother putting my waders on. It only took a few minutes before my feet and legs started cramping. I honestly do not know how so many people swim in this cold of water. I would seize up.
Even though I did not have any fish to show, I did get to feel the tug on my line a few times. That's really all I wanted.
This place was truly magical.
