Yamaha R15 V3 Ultimate Brake Upgrade | Brembo Sintered Brake Pads | Part-1

Описание к видео Yamaha R15 V3 Ultimate Brake Upgrade | Brembo Sintered Brake Pads | Part-1

UPDATE: I incorrectly mention the price of the stock brake pad as Rs 200, because that is what I was led to believe. It is in the range of Rs 1,000. Apologies for the factual error on my end. I should have double checked.

Original description follows:

A lot has been talked about the lack of ABS on the Yamaha R15 V3. While ABS is a life saving feature and I do advocate its use, let it not be a deal breaker for this otherwise fantastic bike.

So what do we do about the brakes then?

The brakes on this bike are adequate for regular road use, but if you are planning to ride it fast, here's what all you can do to upgrade it.

1. Steel braided front brake line - A Pulsar 220's brake line fits just fine and does not break the bank. Cost = Rs 1,111 at any Bajaj spare parts shop. Installation was Rs 200 only.

2. Brembo brake pads - A good set of brake pads will help improve the feel, bite and power of your brakes. It will also instil a great deal of confidence in you to brake late and still make the corner. Remember, races are won in corners, and on brakes, not in a straight line!
Model number: Brembo 07HD21SP

3. Radially mounted front brake master cylinder - Now this is where things start getting a bit crazy. Overkill for the road, absolutely! But if you want to take it to the race track, a worthy addition.

More details about the radial master cylinder and the front brake hose fluid I used will be released in the next video, which I am planning to by the end of this week (being realistic, since I am very lazy)

Watch out for Part-2 of this ultimate brake upgrade series. To do that, you can subscribe to the channel and press the bell icon so you get a notification as soon as the video goes live (Shameless plug. Haha)

But, if you do watch this video, I would request you to leave feedback - good or bad - your choice, which will help me improve and provide more awesome content for you guys.
