ഒരിക്കലെങ്കിലും ആശുപത്രിയിൽ സ്നേഹവും കരുതലും നിറഞ്ഞ ഈ മാലാഖമാരുടെ സാന്ത്വനം അനുഭവിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്തവരായി ആരും തന്നെയുണ്ടാകില്ല. അസുഖങ്ങൾ സമ്മാനിക്കുന്ന അസ്വസ്ഥതകളുടെയും വേദനകളുടെയും ലോകത്ത് ആശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ കരസ്പർശവുമായെത്തുന്നവരാണ് ഇവർ.

രാത്രിയെന്നോ പകലെന്നോ ഭേദമില്ലാതെ ഒന്നു വിളിച്ചാൽ ഉറ്റവരെ പോലെ ഓടിയെത്തി രോഗികൾക്ക് ആശ്വാസം പകരുന്ന ഇവരുടെ മഹത്വം വാക്കുകൾ കൊണ്ട് വിവരിച്ചു തീർക്കാവുന്നതല്ല. കോവിഡിനെതിരായ പോരാട്ടത്തിലും സമർപ്പിത മനസ്കരായി നേഴ്സുമാർ നടത്തുന്ന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ നമ്മൾ കാണുന്നുണ്ട്.

കോവിഡിന്റെ ഭീകരതയെ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ അടുത്തറിഞ്ഞവർ നഴ്സുമാർ തന്നെയാണ്. ഇവരിൽ രോഗീപരിചരണത്തിനിടയിൽ രോഗപ്പകർച്ചയുണ്ടായവരും ഏറെയുണ്ട്. ഈ പ്രതിസന്ധി ഘട്ടത്തിലും സമൂഹത്തിനു വേണ്ടിയാണ് ഇവർ കർമ്മരംഗത്ത് മുന്നിട്ടിറങ്ങുന്നത്. ഇവർക്കുമുണ്ട് വീടും വീട്ടുകാരുമെല്ലാം. ജീവിതത്തിൽ പല പ്രതിസന്ധികളും നേരിടുന്നവരാണ് ഇവരിൽ പലരും. എന്നിട്ടും പലപ്പോഴും സ്വന്തം കാര്യങ്ങൾ പോലും മാറ്റിവെച്ച് ഇവർ സമൂഹരക്ഷയ്ക്കായി തങ്ങളുടെ കർമ്മമേഖലയിൽ സധൈര്യം പ്രവർത്തനം തുടരുകയാണ്. ഇവർക്കായി നമ്മൾക്ക് നൽകാം ഹൃദയത്തിൽ നിന്നൊരു ബിഗ് സല്യൂട്ട്...

What else a patient needs other than the smile of a nurse, who adds hope, love and care in a patient's life, who is grappling with pain.

Everyone who visits the hospital has experienced the comfort of these loving and caring angels. They are the ones responsible for a touch of relief when one is struggling with pain.
Their sacrifice is irreplaceable as they are tirelessly working day and night to keep us safe. The dedication and hard work they have displayed in this war against Covid are commendable.
Nurses have even witnessed the real struggles during the pandemic as some of them have even contracted the infection.
Even in this time of crisis, they are working hard for society to keep that hope of winning over this pandemic alive.
A big salute from the heart to the sacrifice they have made, by setting aside their own lives to serve the community.
