Teaching and researching sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation – Experiences from Warsaw University of Technology (WUT)

In today’s fast-paced world, the need for quick and effective learning is paramount. With economic pressures, increased competition in the education market, and demographic challenges, interest in e-learning, especially in higher education, is on the rise. This webinar will explore which form of education—in-person or distance—is more attractive to students, how they assess both, their preference for further education, and suggestions for improving distance learning. Additionally, the webinar will demonstrate how Industry 4.0 technologies can be integrated with e-learning to enhance its effectiveness and appeal.

Presenters:
- Małgorzata Schulz: Assistant Professor at Warsaw University of Technology. She holds a PhD in social sciences (sociology). Her main areas of research include social inequalities and social stratification; social processes and cultural changes, migration policy, sociology of politics and morality, the influence of media on shaping mutual relations between countries. She is currently focusing her research on topics related to sustainable development in housing policy.
- Aldona Kluczek: Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology, specializing in sustainable industrial practices and the application of Industry 4.0 technologies. Her academic journey is dedicated to enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability in production environments. Her current research delves into the interplay between sustainability and Industry 4.0, with a specific focus on energy sustainability in industrial plants.
