2013 RetroSkins Highlights: San Diego Chargers vs Washington Redskins

RetroSkins has been getting requests for games from more recent seasons. So, to appease our younger demographic (does this page even have a demographic?), we go not so way back to 2013!

Wait, you ask... wasn't 2013 a total dumpster fire? Yes. Yes it was. But here at RetroSkins, we believe that there's something worth remembering from even the worst of years. That's what we're all about - the deep cuts, baby!

If you don't recall this '13 game, the Redskins (2-5) were hosting the very good Phillip Rivers and his pretty good San Diego Chargers (4-3) in this mid-season match-up at FedEx. RGIII and the Redskins offense was surprisingly competent, with crisp passing, jumbo running, and even a little grit in overcoming an early tough-luck INT TD by the Charger defense. Meanwhile, the 'Skins D redefined the old bend-but-don't-break philosophy in thrilling fashion.
