Havana By Moon Soaps | The Daily Shave

Hi everyone! Ray for another West Coast Shaving’s daily shave video. Today’s I will be using a shaving soap from Moon Soaps. This company is based out of California and Melody is the artisan behind various bath and body products.

The soap scent I will be using is the Havana. This is a tallow based soap. When you open up the tub the smell of teakwood and vanilla. Then as it blooms and you lather the notes of tobacco, spice, vetiver, and musk occur. It is a refreshing masculine summer scent. It reminds me of a day spent at the beach in a hut with a nice cold drink. I would rate the scent a 9 out of 10.

Easily a thick yogurt lather builds which provides excellent protection, slickness, and glide of the razor. So I would give it a rating of 9 out of 10.

Finishing it off I am using soap commanders fortitude aftershave balm. It has a scent of hay, tobacco, and rum which pairs nicely to the overall aroma of the soap.
