هلق في ناس تقول لك
أخي ما بصير نعمل إلا بالقرآن.
The Quranists claim that the Quran is
the only valid source of Islamic laws.
طيب إذا قلت ما بصير
نعمل إلا بالقرآن
البول والغائط بالقرآن مذكور؟
If that is true, are urine and
feces mentioned in the Quran?
مذكور أن الواحد ما يدخلهم في جوفه؟
ما مذكور.
Is it mentioned that one shouldn't
swallow them? No. It isn't.
تحريم أكل الكلاب والقرود؟
ما مذكور.
Is it mentioned in the Quran that eating
the meat of dogs and monkeys is forbidden?
هاد مذكور في أقوال النبي
أو استنباط العلماء
No. It isn't. This is mentioned in the sayings
of the Prophet or the deduction of the scholars
يلي اختصوا في فهم الشريعة
على مختلف وليش اختلفوا؟
who specialize in understanding the Islamic
laws despite having different opinions
في اختلاف هو رحمة.
يكون أفتوا كل شخص
which is a mercy for the Ummah as different
opinions suit people's different circumstances.
على حسب استعداده.
القوي له حكم.
For example, there is a fatwa for the strong,
another for the weak, a third for travelers,
الضعيف المسافر المقيم
الحامل ويلي غير
a fourth for residents, a fifth for pregnant women,
a sixth for non-pregnant women, a seventh for
حامل من النساء.
ضعيف الإيمان
قوي الإيمان الأغنياء
those who have weak faith, an eighth for those
who have strong faith, a ninth for the rich

and an tenth for the poor, etc.

For example, according to Shafi' school of thought,
Zakat Al-Fitr is four handfuls (of both hands) of wheat.

كانوا يتعاملون بالحبوب.
ما كان في عملة.
At the time of Prophet Muhammad, people
used to deal with grains more than money.
يبيع القمح ويشتري فيهم زيت.
يبيع الزيت يشتري سمنة.
They would barter wheat for oil and oil for ghee, etc.
as bartering was more popular than money.
كان النقد عيني ما نقدي.
لسع هلق
Due to advancement in worldly matters,
People nowadays use money for buying and selling.
بأمور الدنيا
بدك ترجع 15 قرن للوراء.
So there is no need to go back to the old
ways used 15 centuries ago to pay zakat.
هي يلي يسمونها رجعية.
الحنفي قال
يطالع القيمة.
This is called backwardness. According to
imam Hanafi, Zakat Al-Fitr can be paid in cash.
الحنفي كان بالعراق.
العراق الدولة العباسية.
In fact, he lived in Iraq during the Abbasid caliphate
which was advanced in worldly matters.
صار في تقدم في أمور الدنيا
وصار في عملة
من بطبعها؟
As a result, the Islamic state decided to coin
money as it was a medium of exchange.
الدولة الإسلامية.
لسع بدنا نتم على عملة القمح و الشعير؟
So why should we follow the old way
of bartering wheat for barley.
هي بدك تتبع المصلحة. مصلحة الإيش؟
Zakat Al-Fitr can be paid in cash
as it is in the favor of the poor.
ثم كانوا بزمن النبي كلهم فقراء.
هلق واحد يكلفه الغداء أو العشاء
In fact, at the time of the Prophet,
most people were poor.
إذا كان من الدراويش شوية فلافل
وإذا كان واحد من المنافيخ
Nowadays, a simple lunch or dinner would
cost a poor person 25 Syrian pounds
يلي بطنه منفوخ هيك
وصندوقه منفوخ
ورصيده بالبنك منفوخ.
while it costs a very extravagant rich man who
has a large account in the bank a lot of money.
إذا بده يعمل غداء
قديش يكلفه؟ هاد المنفوخ
إذا طالع الفطرة
تبعه ألف ليرة
If such a person pays Zakat Al-Fitr,
one thousand liras is not much for him.
ما كتير عليه.
الله قال:
God says:
”لينفق ذو سعة من سعته
ومن قدر عليه رزقه
"Let the man of means spend according to
his means: and the man whose resources
فلينفق مما أتاه الله."
are restricted, let him spend according to
what Allah has given him."
أتى رجل إلى النبي
انطلاقا من فهم هالقاعدة.
Based on understanding this rule, someone
came to Prophet Muhammad and asked him:
قال،:" يا رسول الله
هل في الخيل زكاة؟"
"O Prophet of Allah? Is there zakat on horses?"
ما هيك الحديث؟
في الخيل ما في زكاة
لأنه الخيل ما أحد يقتنيها للتجارة.
Of course, no zakat is due on them
because they are not bought for trade
الغنم تصير للتجارة
والبقر تصير للتجارة.
while sheep and cows are.
عنده فرس وكان الفرس
يتشارك عليها 3-4 شركاء.
A horse would be owned by three or four partners.
Thus, no zakat is due on them.
أي ما في زكاة.
النبي ما قال له لا تعمل الخير
مع أنه ما فيها زكاة.
قال له لا أجد لك.
Despite that, the Prophet didn't say to him:
Don't do good.
وهي سياسة الفتوى والفتيا.
المفتي بده يكون حكيم.
This is the policy that should be followed
by the mufti who should be wise.
يعطي الدواء
يكون المرض واحد ملاريا
He should give the medicine
according to the illness.
لكن كمية الدواء كيفية استعمال الدواء
Patients might have malaria, for example.
But the amount of medicine and how to use it
تحويله إلى دواء أخر
ترجع إلى حنكة وفهم الطبيب.
might differ from one patient to another depending on the experience and understanding of the doctor.
