EP 65 PANAMA AT LAST, REST STOP, follow as we travel together across the America's, north to south.

EP 65 Jaco, Costa Rica was really nice and lots of good folks, everyone wants to talk to us, well you know me once I start talking it's on! I never know when to stop, but we got some great breakfast and then back on the road. Still lots to see and you know me, I found a bakery, WOW nice bread and danish rolls. Coffee was great, never get to much of that black stuff!
Couldn't find out why they had an Caribu airplane there, it looked x-military but I would have loved to flown in it, looked pretty nice and I love to fly. And on we go, heading into the sun, trying to make the Panama border crossing and into David or Boquete for the night, got some friends there and hopefully can make it in time for dinner tonight or at least breakfast in the morning. I found my friend Gordy from Canada their, got a chance to catch up on his part of the world, he's a great guy and always makes you smile. He's got a few acres and interested in coffee. Drinks as much as I do, so he needs to start growing some for both of us!
Found a great little hotel, Grandma's Hotel, very clean and everyone was so happy to see us, felt like they were long lost family. And the price was very reasonable, I could have spent more time there but we have a shipping date in mind and we have to get closer to the city. The never-ending paperwork for shipping, police inspections and customs paper work, 5 days of early morning headaches. But we finally get it all put together and Rambo gets stuffed into a container and ready for a sea cruise! Had a couple others that stuffed the same time but it was quick and almost painless, Rambo got his nose scuffed up a bit but nothing serious! Mom was really worried for a little bit! Then a couple days of checking out the canal and other sights and then our flight to Cartagena, to wait for Rambo to make his way there.
