Garden Tour - Gibbs Gardens, Ball Ground, Georgia

I visited Gibbs Gardens last Sept, 2021, which was ranked #2 in 2020 as "Best American Botanical Garden". You can see some fall color already. The gardens designed by Jim Gibbs comprise of 300+ acres including a Monet Japanese bridge and waterlily ponds (just like Giverny). I spent most of my time around these two areas but there is so much more to see! I plan to go back in Spring to visit the areas I missed like the Manor House, fish ponds/waterfalls and wild flower meadow among other areas. The gardens are located in Ball Ground, GA, north of Atlanta which is about 1 hour/15 minutes from Atlanta. They closed on 12/5 for winter and will re-open mid February. I think it is worth being a member especially if you plan to visit more than once a year. Witness spring/summer and fall! There is also a cafe and gift shop...two stops I look for after a long stroll in nature! What a kaleidoscope of colors I witnessed!
