West End ~ Koa Flies To Historic Nest After Fledging! Awesome Closeups + Koa Lying In Nest 💕🎉 6.3.24

Описание к видео West End ~ Koa Flies To Historic Nest After Fledging! Awesome Closeups + Koa Lying In Nest 💕🎉 6.3.24

After Koa fledged this morning, the cam op panned & searched the area but Koa could not be seen. Then three hours later, Thunder flies into the nest with a fish for Treasure & Sterling. Koa heard the squees and from the WEO cam we can see Koa flying in to the old historic West End nest! Koa makes itself at home on the rocks overlooking the new nest and the ocean. Koa is flying like a pro - really cool to watch now!

Thunder is seen to the right of Koa perched above the new nest as Sterling and Treasure eat their fish breakfast. Koa then decides to rest after such an exciting morning and lies down on the old nest and gets comfy! Koa spends the rest of the morning and all of the afternoon up here! Koa does return to its nest and faces two siblings not very happy with its return ( that will be in my next video - it is quite the show!) Thank you for watching!

I recommend watching this video to learn about why the eagles have patagial tags also known as wing bling & the conservation work conducted in saving the bald eagles:
