Dr. Anima Adjepong (they/them) is a sociologist, critical race, gender, and sexualities scholar. Their primary focus is Ghanaian cultural politics and social justice efforts across the African diaspora. Dr. Adjepong is an Assistant Professor of Women's Gender and Sexualities Studies at the University of Cincinnati and a member of Silent Majority Ghana as well as actively involved in transnational queer feminist activism. Their book "Afropolitan Projects: Redefining Blackness, Sexualities, and Culture from Houston to Accra" has been published by the University of North Carolina Press (2021).
