Fortifying Critical Infrastructure in a Digital World

Описание к видео Fortifying Critical Infrastructure in a Digital World

In February 2024, the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) issued a report with recommendations for bolstering the resiliency of critical infrastructure, specifically cyber-physical systems. These systems are at the core of the services that underpin our lives—our water, electricity, banking, communications, air traffic control, and much more. However, they are increasingly vulnerable to threats from nation-states, terror groups and other bad actors, natural disasters, accidents, and failures.

To meet this challenge, the PCAST report provides recommendations to the President to improve the resilience of critical infrastructure. CSET hosted this discussion with PCAST members who helped produce the report and who descripted these recommendations in more detail.

On August 1, 2024, CSET Director of the CyberAI Project John Bansemer moderated a discussion on the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) Report on Strategy for Cyber-Physical Resilience.
