EP #7 - A How To Guide To Using Landmarks In Ice Hockey Goal Tending

Описание к видео EP #7 - A How To Guide To Using Landmarks In Ice Hockey Goal Tending

How to use landmarks for Goalies in ice hockey and briefly touch on how to follow or move with the puck around the ice. We will touch on most major landmarks and how they affect our save or movement selection or decisions. Certain positions on the ice are dictated by where the puck is or what options are available to the shooter. Landmarks are also used as a guideline on how to move and follow the puck around the ice in a play or drill. I say guidelines because they are not a rule just general guidelines.

The main landmarks are Center of the net, NHL Trapezoid, Goal line, Bottom of Face Off Circle, Hash marks at the boards, Face Off Dot, Blue Line at the boards, Inner Hash marks, Center Ice, Goal Crease, and Ringette Crease if you have one.
