Yesterday I talked to you about devices that didn't make it into my setup for various reasons.

Today we are talking about devices that definitely managed to convince me. And really.

The Microfreak is an important part of the setup as it sends midi signals to the MicroMonsta2 as well as sync to the PO-33. Retrokits RK006 helps all devices to communicate with each other. MicroFreak is indispensable in this setup and, next to my Volcas, one of the most valuable devices I own with a lively, almost idiosyncratic sequencer.

For me, the MicroMonsta2 is the Hydrasynth in handy and "it contains what you can get in such a box". It also has an arpeggiator, of course, but what's even better, it has something like a sequencer. However, you can't really use it in Live Jam. Although I should try it. Maybe something for the last days of Jamuary. But what particularly stands out is the layering of two different patches. That's exactly what I'm showing in this jam. One patch is combined with the sequence on the MicroFreak, with others I have set the attack time so high that it no longer reacts to the sequence and I can use it as a lead. It's incredibly fun.

I don't think I need to say much more about the PO-33, it's so easy to have fun with the device. It is the simplest and cheapest sampler in the price range and because of its portability you can always take it with you.

All in all 3 strong devices that are great fun together or separately and I would also recommend the MicroFreak and the PO-33 to beginners without reservation.

Another new year, another #Jamuary. I'm so excited for all of the creative jams from you, the community. of course I'll be there again, for the third year in a row.

This year I've organized a bit, I've sorted the jams into categories. There are single, duo and triple jams. There are also Special and Ipad Jams.

Every day in January we publish a jam, it should be quite short, it doesn't have to be anything special, just put your thoughts aside and start playing.

We then upload this jam to our channel and tag it with the hashtag #Jamuary2022.

The hashtag is spreading and we are growing even closer together. #####################################################

Most of the Time I am using the Specular Reverb v3 for my jams.
Sometimes the NTS-1 with the Cathedral Preset or just the iPad.
