UMVC3 - Plink Dash Secret Tech | Tip and Trick to Perfect Plinks

I've meant to share this with the community for some time and while I may be quite late it's better late than never. This tech was given to me by Cloud805 way back in the Marvels heyday.

It is Wednesday (my dudes) the 16th of August in 2023 and I'm reporting that I have a new way of plinking now.
After the announcment that Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 would be at Evo 23 I decided that I wanted to make sure I would plink with H starter for the OS grab. So, pretty much I use the same button layout I just plink starting with my pinky now. There was a whole two weeks where I was trying to learn how to plink manually and I was failing. With Evo so close and me playing Magneto but not being able to move I litterally had trouble sleeping and it was the first thing I would think about when I would wake up. It was just this terrible feeling. It took some time because I wanted to weigh the options out and see what the best course of action was. Finally I made up my mind and I decided to plink with my pinky. It took more time to get use to BUT I was able to move within the hour of switching to this new technique and it took about a month to get my pinky to have the strength to plink and play for hours like this. If you can keep a secret (and maybe this will help someone reading this if they watched this video and are trying out my button layout) I don't always plink H starter. I pink H starter when I feel I could possibly get a throw off of the OS. So when I'm close to my opponent or when I am in the air and I feel like I could run into my opponent. If there is a time almost exclusively mid combo or in a clutch scenario where i'm trying to get away from a bad spot and I really want to make sure I land the plinks I'll use the technique seen in the video. (*) Obviously in an optimal world I plink with H starter at all times and maybe after EVO I'll be more strict with myself but that's how I ran it at Evo and I don't feel like I would have gotten farther with stricter "only plink with H starter" gameplan. It's just both the way I play and the meta. People know about mag Plink OS so they try to stay away from him or hit him before he can get close enough to hit the grab OS. Maybe I'm not playing in such a way to really utilize it to it's full potential...But at this point I'm just rambling. Anyways yeah try the new technique it's worth for Plink OS. Thanks.
