Nikita Koloff at the 2022 NC Faith & Freedom Salt & Light Conference

Introducing Nikita Koloff is Mr. Chris Williams. Nikita was born in the projects of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Nikita was the youngest of four and raised by a single mom. While training for a pro football tryout, he was introduced to professional wrestling in 1984. Known as “The Russian Nightmare" and “The Russian Road Warrior” in the ring, his Hall-of-Fame World Championship Professional Wrestling career would take him around the world for the next eight years. More than accolades on a football field or wrestling championship belts, he says his journey with Jesus is the true highlight of his life. Soon after he retired, he surrendered his life to Christ. His men’s ministry has taken him to over 1200 churches in 28 different denominations in all 50 states and 30 countries.  

About the Conference

The Salt & Light 2022 Conference celebrates its 5th year by welcoming prominent leaders from across the nation to declare the TRUTH of God’s Word to educate, equip, and encourage attendees to stand up and become part of the cultural conversation by following the biblical mandate of being Salt & Light. This year’s event drew attendees to Charlotte from across the state and region to Freedom House Church to participate in the largest faith-based policy conservative two-day conference in North Carolina. Using a TED-style format, each speaker is provided 15-to-20 minutes representing the seven mountains of influence (family, religion, education, media, entertainment, business and government).

The Salt & Light Conference is sponsored by NC Faith & Freedom Coalition, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization focused on empowering faithful Christians with the facts necessary to understand which public policies reflect our values, and which ones undermine them. The organization works to inform voters about critical issues relevant to faith-based communities and then equip our attendees with the tools they need to be a force for good in their community.
