In this week’s episode of Paint it Blak, Emma talks about A WA Ombudsman report into the Noongar Charitable Trust.

She explains in 2020, the trustee, a company called Equity Trustees, purchased the 'El Caballo' property in Wundowie for $12 million.
Earlier this month, the WA Ombudsman found this purchase was done without a proper independent market valuation, with retrospective estimates revealing the market value was just $5.9 million.

It’s prompted South West Aboriginal Land and Sea Council CEO Vanessa Kickett to call for Equity Trustees to pay $21 million in compensation to Noongar People.
